Stacie and Gabie met in 2012 when they both joined Sin City Roller Derby as Fresh Meat. They quickly gravitated towards one another and have been inseparable ever since.

They fell for each other organically.

Stacie broke her ankle early on in her derby career, but Gabie was there to make sure she was fed and taken care of. That is when Stacie knew that Gabie would be a special person in her life.

A few months later Gabie’s apartment lease was coming up for renewal and Stacie was living alone in a 3-bedroom home. They decided it made sense to become roomies.

The stars aligned and neither of them knew what the universe had in store for them when Gabie moved in.

Gabie knew she was in love a month before the move and asked her best friend, “Should I do this? This may not end well,” and her best friend replied a resounding, “Hell Yes!!”

Within the first week they both knew that this was more than a roomie situation and that they had found their person. There has not been a day since that they have not shown up for each other. They both understand that their love cannot surpass the other, but Stacie and Gabie sure try.

After 11 years together they still enjoy quiet nights at home with the pups. They love watching the latest true-crime documentary while cooking dinner and enjoying a couple of cocktails. Their hobbies include brunching with friends and working out in their home gym.
